Marquesas Islands

Located 4 hours flight from the main island of Tahiti, these 12 islands feature lush sharp mountains falling dramatically into the ocean. Only half of them are inhabited and to date, they still remain the cradle of Polynesian handcraft. Secluded and offering no sheltered lagoon, they host a large and rich variety of fish species with dive encounters such as schools of manta rays, hammerhead sharks, melon head dolphins along pinacles and endless walls, caves and arches in a unique setting in French Polynesia.
