Last week, we were honoured to attend the official ceremony at one of the primary schools in Moorea which was award the eco-label of Aire Marine Educative (Educational Marine area) empowering the children to protect the lagoon and land in their area. This is where the single-use plastic awareness programme was launched by Te mana o te moana in October 2019 and where the yachting industry contributed by donating metal flasks to each kid to replace their usual plastic bottle. About 8 months later, they all attended the ceremony with their flask. Congratulations to these children and their teachers for their involvement!
